About us
Our mission is to enhance the scientific understanding and sustainable management of Georgia’s river basins by integrating advanced hydrological research, modern monitoring technologies, and internationally recognized methodologies. We conduct detailed assessments of hydrological parameters using field measurements, satellite-based observations, and state-of-the-art modeling tools to improve the accuracy of water resource evaluations, identify flood zones, and forecast potential changes in river flow conditions.
We work to ensure the continuous and reliable operation of river monitoring networks, providing timely and science-based information to communities, decision-makers, and partner organizations. These efforts support early warning systems, reduce the risks associated with floods and extreme hydrological events, and strengthen climate resilience at both local and regional scales.
Through ongoing research, data-driven analysis, and the application of best practices in river basin management, we aim to minimize the negative impacts of climate change, protect natural and built environments, and promote the sustainable use of water resources.
Precision hydrology for smarter decisions
We deliver accurate hydrological measurements, advanced modeling, and high-quality data analysis to support informed decision-making.
Smart monitoring for dynamic river systems
We combine modern sensors, automated monitoring stations, and real-time data analysis to track the fast-changing behavior of river systems.
Where innovation turns natural resources into long-term value
Through accurate flow assessments, hydropower feasibility studies, and optimized project design, we support the development of efficient, climate-resilient hydropower systems.
Transforming water into life, energy, and environmental resilience
ABZU developed and owned project that uses underground water discharged from fish farm, supporting organic aquaculture production. Grey water from the fish farm is converted into renewable energy, which powers local tourism sites, infrastructure, and communities. By creating a closed-loop cycle of water, food, and energy, the project reduces environmental impact and supports sustainable economic development.
